Expanding Our Horizons: Managers Explore Self-Awareness with Biljana Rakić

Great leadership starts with looking in the mirror. Last week, our management team gathered for a transformative workshop on Efficient Communication led by our own Biljana Rakić.

The centerpiece of the session was the Johari Window model—a psychological framework designed to help people better understand their relationship with themselves and others.

Shattering the “Blind Spots” Biljana guided the team through the four quadrants of the model, challenging them to confront their “Blind Spots” (traits others see in us, but we don’t see in ourselves) and reduce their “Hidden Areas” through honest feedback.

It wasn’t just a lecture; it was a safe space for discovery. By learning to ask for feedback and listen without judgment, our managers discovered how to:

• Build deeper trust with their teams.
• Clear up misunderstandings before they start.
• Lead with greater empathy and transparency.
